Keith Helmer Christopherson was born on Feb. 8, 1928, in Yankton to Marvin and Esther (Vedin) Christopherson. He attended country school before serving in the US Army during WW II.

On Jan. 5, 1952 he was united in marriage to Gwendolyn Copple at Hastings, Neb. For many years he farmed in the Viborg area. His wife died in 2016.

Grateful for having shared his life are two children, Mike (Mary) Christopherson, Viborg and Carmen (Bill) Province, Lansing, Mich.; four grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers Donald and Clifford and a sister Joyce.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19 at the Carlson Cemetery, rural Viborg.

Arrangements provided by Hofmeister Jones Funeral Chapel, Viborg.
