Ruth Elaine Mohr Lundblade was born on Feb. 4, 1939, at Marion to John and Helen (Stubbe) Mohr. She grew up in Marion and the Parker area and graduated from Marion High School in 1957. While in Marion she worked at the Home Cafe before moving to Milwaukee, Wisc. where she worked for the Mary Jane Shoe Store. She moved to Illinois where she met her husband Terry Lundblade. She worked for many years at the Forrest Hills County Club in Rockford, Ill. They lived in Illinois before moving back to South Dakota. Among many things they were involved in was an antique store in Chancellor and ran the Ramblin Rose in Parker. They lived in Clayton before moving to Freeman three years ago. They enjoyed going to auction sales.

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband Terry; four brothers and sisters, Ervin (Jackie) Mohr, Viborg, Warren (Julie) Mohr, Hartford, Dawn (Kim) Berens and Denise (Gary) Hanten, all of Parker; two step-children Shawn and Kerry and step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Alvin.
