Circulation of petitions to begin

Sarah Ebeling | Managing Editor

As of Friday, Jan. 31, anyone who lives within the Parker School District can take out a petition to run for a three-year term on the Parker School board. School board member, Jason Chester’s, term will expire.

Interested parties have until Friday, Feb. 28 at 5 p.m. to file their petition.

The same dates holds true for the City of Parker. Several city council members have terms expiring. Bob Sattler and Amy Chicoine both have one-year terms that are up for election and Roxie Harms, Peggy Berens and Mayor Ron Nelson all have two-year terms and are up for election.

For more information on either the school board or city council, contact them today.
