Parker Chamber preparing for Hometown Christmas
Hometown Christmas in Parker is only days away. The annual event is hosted by the Parker Chamber of Commerce.
This year’s festivities will run throughout the day on Saturday, Dec. 7.
If reading is on your list, Parker’s Public Library will be open extended hours and the Parker Teacher Connection will be hosting a book fair at the Parker School Library from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
A vendor fair will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Parker Community Building with a concession lunch being served by the Parker Legion.
A kids’ carnival will run from 1-4 p.m. at the school and cookies with Santa will be in the school gym from 2-5 p.m.
If checking out Christmas trees is more your style, check out the Festival of Trees at Hope Harbor from 3-5 p.m.
At 6 p.m. a lighted parade will be held on Main Street followed by a free community meal at the Parker School.
Bingo will start at 7 p.m.
