The Parker wrestlers traveled to Mount Vernon last Thursday where they faced off against Garretson, Sioux Valley and MVPCS. The Pheasants came away with victories in all three, improving to 5-1 in duals.
Riley Pankratz, who wrestled at 113 was named Parker wrestler of the night.

Parker third at Howard
Fresh off a clean sweep at the Mount Vernon Duals, the Parker wrestling team headed to Howard on Saturday for the Ken Ruml invitational. Parker came away in third place with 112 points, just behind rivals Howard and MCM.
The Pheasants had nine wrestlers finish in the top four with Charlie Patten highlighting the day with a championship at 195.
Riley Pankratz finished fourth at 113, Tanner Preheim was third at 120, Hudson Eldeen was fourth at 126, Andrew Even was fourth at 132, Jack Even was fourth at 152, Jake Stone was third at 160, Logan Bridges was fourth at 170 and Geoff Dunkelberger was second at 285.
Patten won his semi-final match over Charlie Prien of MVPCS by fall in 1:04. In the finals Patten was able to edge Austin Hoiten of MCM by a 4-0 decision.
Dunkelberger won his semifinal match against Alex Huls of MCM by fall with a time of 40 seconds. In the championship match, Dunkelberger faced Kellen Cassidy of MVPCS and lost by fall in 1:23.
With his championship Patten was named Parker wrestler of the day.
The busy schedule continues for the wrestlers as they next hosted several area teams on Tuesday.
