On Tuesday, Oct. 22 Lake County, Minnehaha, Turner County, Lincoln and McCook County meet in Sioux Falls at the Minnehaha Emergency Manager building. According to Turner County Emergency Manager Brad Georgeson, the county received a donation check from Dakota Access Pipeline for $20,000.00.
He explained the donation was provided as a good neighbor donation to purchase equipment. The $20,000.00 donation would go into the LEPC (Local Emergency Planning Committee) account. During the LEPC meeting, a committee was formed to look into purchasing a rescue boat.
