Wanda was born June 14, 1940, in Yankton to Telmar and Mary (Belvins) Hokenstad. She grew up Flandreau and Parker. She then married Gerald Hagen on Aug. 30, 1956, in Parker.
Wanda was a stay at home mom to watch her children grow up. She began her work career at Litton Microwave, SD Prison, Dayton’s Department Store and SPS credit card services.
She was an active member at Chancellor Reformed Church. She enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren in all of their activities over the years. She loved watching the Vikings and Twins on TV.
Jerry and Wanda had four children Kelly (Jeff) Beebe, Maplewood Minn., Dawn Kidder, San Antonio Texas, Kevin (Shelly) Hagen, Sioux Falls and Robin (Nate) His Law, Pukwana. She was blessed with nine grandchildren Andrew (Molly) Hagen, Cole (Chole) Hagen, Melissa, Jessica, Elizabeth and Alicia Kidder, Jacob and Nathan His Law and two great-grandchildren Riley and Ryder Hagen. She had two sisters Doris Flint from Viborg and Marjorie Hokenstad from Sioux Falls.
She preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter Fawn, brother Robert and grandson Steven Hagen.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 1 at Chancellor Reformed Church.
