Enjoying lunch with a deputy

Last week Parker elementary students had the opportunity to have lunch with new SRO (School Resource Officer) Colter Hendrix.  Hendrix said with two months under his belt as the SRO he believes things are going good. He noted that kindergarten through sixth-grade students are responding to having an SRO in the school. Hendrix commented that his favorite part is receiving the high fives and seeing the positive impact while continuing to build relationships with students and teachers.(Photo/Sarah Ebeling)
