Saying Goodbye

A lot of laughs and even a few tears were shed last Friday, May 10 at the Parker Teacher Appreciation luncheon. During the event, many teachers were honored for their years of service to Parker.  A special time was held to honor seven teachers who are retiring after decades of service to the Parker School District.  Jill Christensen and Linda Pankratz were full of laughs and smiles during last week’s teacher appreciation luncheon. The duo are just two of the seven retiring when the school year ends next week. Be sure to read their stories and those from the other veteran teachers saying goodbye in the Thursday, May 30 issue of The New Era. (Photo/Sarah Ebeling.)
