Berens signs with Augustana Vikings

Brooke Berens recently signed her National Letter of Intent to play college volleyball for the Augustana Vikings. Berens made countless memories as a pheasants but her favorite was the 2020 State Volleyball Tournament. She says “It was such a fun time with friends and just a fun season overall.” She valued her time with her teammates and feels fortunate to have shared the court with her sisters, Sydney and Halle. For the pheasants, Brooke was a standout on the court as well as in the classroom. She plans to major in nursing while attending Augustana. Brooke wants future Pheasants to know, “that practices will be hard and some days you won’t want to go but there will be a day when you won’t have any practices left and those experiences turn into cherished memories.” Brooke is extremely excited to join a very talented group of Vikings who are currently 18-10 this season. Berens concluded by saying “I am so thankful for the support over the past four years from the pheasant fans. I am excited to continue my academic and athletic career as a Viking!”
