During last week’s commissioner meeting a motion was made for the Turner County Highway Department to purchase two trailers for $49,300.00.
Highway Superintendent Kent Austin said the trailers would haul asphalt and sand/salt mix.
“I can’t find them anywhere and I have been looking for two years,” noted Austin.
He explained the two trailers were found in Colorado and are Department of Transportation (DOT) inspected and will be delivered to Parker. Austin said one is a 1998 Trailer King and the other is 1999 Flow Boy.
