Parker Red moves to 7-2

Shane Merrill |  Writer

The Parker Red team was second to play on Wednesday night facing off against Centerville. Parker used strong pitching to top the visitors 7-4.

Centerville grabbed the first lead 1-0 after the first inning, drawing a walk and scoring a run.

Parker rallied right back, as Carson Hively hit a shot just out of reach of the second baseman, tying things at one.

A big third inning for the Pheasants pushed Parker to a 6-1 lead with hits from Kaden Fosheim, Brady Beyer and a triple from Jackson Anderson.

Centerville had one last rally in them, scoring three in the final inning, but the Pheasants added one more, going on to get the win 7-4.

Parker collected nine hits on the night compared to two for Centerville. Pitching on the night was Fosheim, Beyer, Anderson and Jake VanVliet.

Up next Parker Red travels to Tea Baumann.
