Saluting the American flag

Wings of Valor opened their doors Sunday, Nov. 1, to several veterans from across the U.S. to give them a relaxing place. On Sunday, Nov. 1, Vietnam veteran Jack Gill salutes the American Flag during the National Anthem at the Wings of Valor grand open ribbon cutting. During the ceremony, several veterans were recognized for their service by Cpl. Marine Sean Adams, who started the Wings of Valor project three years ago. (Photo\Dawn Rye)
